    Practice Background

The property, an Old Queenslander, was purchased in 1994, renovated and opened for practice in 1995. Situated on the corner of Ross River Road and Fitzroy Street, Cranbrook. Initially designed for a single doctor the practice has grown over the past 23 years and now employs, 4 doctors, 2 nurses and 4 reception staff. Dr Laing, started practice in October of 1978, and retired from general practice in December of 2011.

Cranbrook Medical (formerly Dr Laing’s Surgery) opened in 1995.

This practice is owned by the Laing Family.

Upgrades have been made to the facilities, increasing the number of consulting rooms from the original 1 room to 3. Cranbrook Medical now has 3 doctors on site. By purchasing the property situated next door, we are able provide car parking for all our patients away from the busy Fitzroy Street.

Our mission is to provide the highest standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach toward diagnosis and management of illness.

We are committed to promoting health, well-being and disease prevention to all patients. We do not discriminate in the provision of excellent care and aim to treat all patients with dignity and respect.
